The KLRU KIDS Writers Contest is a local contest this year designed to promote the advancement of children’s writing skills through hands-on, active learning. Children in kindergarten through third grade were encouraged to write and illustrate stories and submit them to KLRU, which then selected winners and awarded prizes. All entries were published on KLRU’s website.
KLRU’s panel of judges has awarded 13 winners out of 310 entries for Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
